As part of our final Shared Education Visit, P5 and their friends from Drumhillery and Madden Primary School visited the Irish Linen Museum in Lisburn. The children thoroughly enjoyed finding out about flax growing long ago and the processes involved in the production and manufacturing of linen. They had great fun making pictures from flax fibres using a technique called “felting”.
