P1 Humpty Dumpty experiment
20th Oct 2025
The children in Primary one have been exploring various nursery rhymes this term. One of them being ‘Humpty Dumpty’. We decided to conduct an experiment to see what we could do to save poor Humpty Dumpty from breaking. The children explored a range of materials, made their predictions and then conducted their experiment by dropping eggs onto various surfaces/materials. There were lots of cracked eggs to begin with but finally we discovered the best materials for Humpty Dumpty to land on. The boys and girls had lots of fun with this experiment!
